In order to work properly, a computer should have installed an operating system in it. We can say that Operating system is an integral part of computer, without it computer isn’t a computer, literally. In Short, we have to install operating system on our computer for to do any work on it. In this post we’ll learn how we can makebootable USB without using any kind of 3d party software. Note: This method will work only for to make bootable usb of windows OS(operating system) , it will not work if you want to make bootable usb of Linux Operating system.

Procedure to make bootable usb without using 3d party software:
Follow the given steps for to make bootable usb without using any kind of software
- Copy all files of windows (whatever you like xp, windows 7 or windows 8, it’s totally up to you) to your Flash drive.
- Copy the bootsect.exe and bootmgr files files, which you can find inside of boot folder in your windows DVD. Copy that two files and paste it into your hard drive partition (wherever you like). I assume you pasted these two files in your E drive.
- Now open Run dialog box and enter cmd in text box area from your keyboard and then hit enter. By this, a command prompt will appear on your computer screen.
- Now enter the following commands in command prompt to navigate to the folder where you have just copied (bootsect and bootmgr) files, as given in the below picture .
- Now enter the following command and hit enter (enter any one according to your chosen Operating system).
i)E:/bootsect.exe nt60 G: (for windows 7, 8 and 8.1).
ii)E:/bootsect.exe nt52 G: (for windows xp).
ii)E:/bootsect.exe nt52 G: (for windows xp).
Enter first command if you want to create bootable usb of windows 7, windows 8 or windows 8.1 . If you want to create bootable usb of windows xp then enter second command.
- Now close the command prompt and we are ready to install your windows by using bootable usb which you have just created.
Note: For to boot your system through USB you need to change boot order of your system bios; set boot first from USB.
